Trash and Hazardous Waste

  • Residential Trash is collected every Friday and must be bagged and curbside by 7:00am.

  • If a holiday precedes or falls on Friday, trash will be collected on Saturday.​

  • Residential trash is billed at $15.73 per address on the utility bill.

  • Businesses may contract with any trash hauler that has a New Franklin merchant’s license and will be billed by the hauler directly.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Howard County Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Located at Armstrong and Church Street (south on 240 from the square) in Fayette.  Hours are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Make your appointment by calling Fayette City Hall at (660) 248-5246.  

​

HHW Collection will be open the first Friday of each month April through October.
