Trash collected by RTS

​

• Residential Trash is collected every Friday and must be bagged and at curbside by 7:00am.

• If a holiday precedes or falls on Friday, trash will be collected on Saturday.​ Holidays observed: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.

• All trash must be bagged, bundled or contained within the trash can. Weight limit 40 pounds per container.

• No recycling or yard waste service.

• Bulk trash pickup is on the 1st pickup day of each month. Each residence is allowed one bulk item at no additional cost at this pickup. Any additional items or pickups throughout the month need to be scheduled directly with RTS. Any additional costs will be paid prior to the pickup of said items.

• Businesses may contract with any trash hauler that has a New Franklin merchant’s license and will be billed by the hauler directly.

• Residential trash is billed at $13.20 per address on the utility bill.
